Pipercross![]() Pipercross induction kits are specially designed to reduce turbulence, maximising air flow and performance gains. Each filter uses specially developed polyurethane foam as the filtration medium. The foam delivers higher performance and has a longer life span compared to paper. The filter’s construction means no air passage is blocked until all cells in a layer of foam are completely filled |

K&N intake Kit
K&N Engineering has designed a performance air intake system for the 1996-2003 Lotus Elise 1.8 liter engine and for the 2004-2007 Lotus Exige and Elise 1.8 liter engine. The custom design uses K&N's Apollo air filter enclosure along with a washable reusable K&N air filter. The Apollo is designed to eliminate hot air problems and provide the benefits of an open cone filter and a standard air box in one unit.

K&N 57i induction kit ![]() The original K&N 57i induction kit. The kit replaces your existing airbox system with an open cone. The result is a cone filter that can flow much more air than a standard filter, and allows the engine to rev more freely, delivering more power in the upper rev range. |

Fujita Air![]() The Fujita Air intake installs clean, is made to high quality standards, and produces a mean induction sound. It comes with high quality "rechargable" air filters. There is no heat shield for the Fujita Air intake, but because the intake filter is very close to the side vent on the car, and not very close to the engine (where it could collect hot air), it is not really necessary. When you buy a Fujita Air intake, you also get an extra air filter, a bag, and a cap! |
ITG intake![]() The ITG intake has a carbon fiber heat sheild which surrounds a foam filter. The intake sound is not nearly as aggressive as the Fujita Air intake because it is not exposed to the air as much as the Fujita. I could only tell the difference in sound above 6200 RPMs. Initially, I bought this intake, but the check engine light came on and refused to go off after installing it. I took the intake out and replaced it with a Fujita Air intake, and the problems went away almost immediately! The check engine light happens because the mass airflow sensor receives inaccurate readings on the air flow through the tube of the ITG intake. The only redeeming quality of this intake is that the carbon fiber looks cool. |

Reverie Daytona Intake![]() An intake that is similar to the ITG, with the heat sheild that surrounds the filter part of the intake. I believe that the Reverie Daytona Intake will not sound as aggressive as a completely open element air fitler intake, such as the ForcedFed and Fujita intakes. The main benefit of this intake is that it comes with a spot to put the stock "vane" in from the stock airbox. This vane ensures that airflow over the mass airflow sensor is correct, so no check engine lights occur. |
