In 1995 I fell in love with the re-invented concept of the Lotus Elise: "Performance through Lightweight" after many years of neglecting Colin Chapman basic principle. As an engineer, I'm convinced that lightweight will be the only solution for better performance and rational Fuel consumption.

Those 2 pillars are the foundation of the current succes of Lotus Cars and Engineering. If they proceed and take up a leading role in this evolution, much more glorious years will be ahead for the Lotus company.

Because I was still studiing in 1995, I had to wait untill I was 21 in 2001 to buy my first Lotus Elise MK1. I really loved that car and the stunning sound of the rover engine. But the MK2 was born and was even more beautifull. So I decided to switch the MK1 for a MK2.

That MK2 was my favourite car. But buying a house forced me to sell the car to a friend. After some hard years (lot of work and no time for Lotus) I had a nice but empty garage ... but the Lotus virus didn't stay away :-)

My 4th and current Lotus is a stunning Laser Blue Exige with Performance Pack (My dream car). I'm still wondering what sport exhaust / Cat I will install to achieve "my dreamsound".
