My cars
When I was 21 years old, I bought my first car ever, a standard Mustard yellow metallic Lotus Elise S1 (02/2000) which has been modified a little bit:
- 145 bhp KIT (K&N air filter, 111S Air intake, motorsport manifold, link pipe)
- Sport Silencer
- 111S rims, Yokohama tires
- 111S Headlight Covers
- Front beamers
- Alcantara touch
- Hard top

I really loved this car and she was very nice to drive. Certainly with the engine tuning and sport silencer.
Every time I turned on the engine, I realized what I live for: FUN, FUN and FUN and thats how it should be! On the other hand I considered the S1 as a temporarily car because I actually wanted to buy an Elise S2.
One year later, I bought this car from FKM Antwerp, the color was not my first choise but I have to say that I appreciated it more and more with the time. Finally it became my most favourite color ever for an Elise/ Exige. Unfortunately not many cars were lazer Blue, most where grey (Silver, Quartz,...)
I was one of the first in Belgium who fitted the black Exige rims on an Elise, you should ad some spacers of 1 cm if you fit them on an Rover engined elise. (Which I did not as you can see)
- Hurricane air filter
- Special Inox Race Silencer
- Exige rims (black)
- Leather seats (blue/black)
- 111S rear diffuser (black)

I had to sell the car to buy myself a (bigger) home and during the renovations I had no time nor place in the garage to be occupied with my hobby. So I sold my car to a friend who drove with it another year, he sold the car to buy a new orange Exige S2. Unfortunately he get off the road while driving his Exige and died. Dries, you will be always remembered as a real Lotus fanatic!
My previous laser blue car was very special to me, because it was a unique one. The color, the sound and the leather seats where very rare within Belgium so for my new car I really searched another laser blue car. I couldn't find it within Belgium so I had to look further and I found one in the United Kingdom! It was quit an adventure to go over have a look at the car and bring it to Belgium. I prefer to have LHD car because I'm used to drive them and it's always safer on the road what is very important for a car like this. So I decided to convert the car from RHD to LHD.

As you can see on the pictures, the Exige has the new seats and LED rera lights which are fitted from 2006. The performance pack is also fitted (4 point harness bar, Lotus Traction Control, Extra oil cooler, Special seats) together with airco, Xenon lights, X-cross air filter and stage 1 exhaust.
